MORE NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES SHUT DOWN...

When the killings in Mubi took the center stage, it was inevitable that the students will protest and eventually  shut down. may the sould of the scores killed, rest in peace.

Last Friday it was the gruesome murder of the 4 students of UNI-PORT that has today shut down the university. May their sould rest in peace.

Abia state University in solidarity with their fellow students who were stopped from writing exams due to their inability to pay tuition fee, protested and has led to a shut down.

In Benue state, the medical students who have been in school without accreditation since inception protested yesterday. This was  Following the failure of the college to secure MDCN accreditation. They are demanding that d college and d teaching hospital put some gray areas in place and re invite them within six months. The directive of MDCN are that;
1. A pathology museum be put in place;
2. The physiology, Biochem and Anatomy lab be reviewed and upgraded;
 3. The O and G,and two other theatres be put in place;
 4. The Radiology unit be functional;
5. And staff be employed to handle the functionality of d teaching hospital.
 All these mention above have not been put in place yet with two and half months left.

With the current trend of events, more universities seem to have a reason to shut down by the day, and i must say these are cogent.

Will students within these many universities find a way and a reason to be boundless?

One love.
