It was a black 2014 on many fronts for Nigeria my country but not with the EVD, for we shone bright like a diamond. Not because it did not get to us but as you know dear reader, it did. Ebola killed a couple of people in Nigeria. Many also survived. The heroine for me in this saga is Dr. Mrs Stella Adadevoh. It was her who held back the Liberian diplomatic carrier of the dreaded EVD. If it was not for her, that diplomat would have landed himself in Calabar. Yes, that was his destination. So Dr Mrs Adadevoh kept her patient back from interacting and infecting more Nigerians. Patrick Sawyer the Liberian died and She didn't survive this dreaded disease either.
We are set to Improve the Nigerian Child's reading culture, Increase her vocabulary, Alternative knowledge acquisition through fun, writing as a way to engage, Confidence building and improve public Speaking.

Here’s a household myth: The toilet is the dirtiest place in the house.

Not true. Toilets, in fact, have only 50 fecal bacteria per square inch, according to a study by Dr. Chuck Gerba, a microbiology professor at the University of Arizona.

Mother Nature is incredibly generous in the way she provides - offering a bounty of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients to nourish your body so you can enjoy a long healthy life.
One fruit in particular - the coconut - is so abundant in its healing properties it's referred to as "the tree of life."
