Are you stiletto high?

Longer legs, a more elegant silhouette, and a walk exuding sex appeal.
When you slip into a pair of towering heels, something magic happens to your self-confidence.
But most of us could cry with relief when we kick them off at the end of a long day.
So it comes as no surprise to learn about the damage they do.
Latest figures from the College of Podiatry show nine in ten UK women suffer from foot problems at some point (around 20  million), with almost half admitting to wearing shoes that are uncomfortable... for the sake of fashion. I wonder how many are from Nigeria...
How our bodies suffer for high heels

A survey of UK podiatrists revealed that unsuitable footwear is the leading cause of foot problems they see in their patients.
And according to our gruesome graphic, high heels can affect everything from your back to your battered toes, check out more...

And the winner is...

WHY LOVE IS NEVER TOO LATE.

Why It’s Never Too Late To Fall In Love

“I’m too old” is something older people frequently say after a divorce or the death of a spouse. They feel they are too old to start over, to meet someone new, to date again.
But I also find that more and more people are deciding that simply isn’t true. We are living longer and healthier lives, and for many people, that means looking to meet someone special even very late in life. Few people in their 50s consider themselves too old to try to date, but increasingly people in their 60s, 70s or even 80s are willing to give it a try and are finding it rewarding.
As a psychologist in private practice, I often meet people who have been divorced more than once who decide I’m just not cut out to be married or part of a couple, I won’t even try. My response is, “Practice makes perfect!” If we have any smarts at all we learn from our losses and mistakes and get even better at defining what makes us happy and what we want in a relationship. Some of the happiest, most satisfied couples I see are couples who met in later years.

Eko oni Baje

Today is June 28th 2013. A significant day for many of us. For me,I wrote my last paper today at the FRCN Training school where i have been for 6weeks. It is the intermediate production course and my excitement is a lot.
I had lunch specially made for me by an acquaintance Erica. Thanks babes. She picked me from the training school premises in GRA Ikeja Lagos and as we drove to her home, i couldnt help but marvel at the work done and on going in Lagos state.
The lagos State governor Babatunde Raji Fashola who celebrated a special June 28th has written his name in the sands of time. He clocked 50today and one cant help but celebrate this vibrant man.

So Uncle Fash as he is popularly called was 44 when he first got to the governor's seat?

OJB JEZREEL, Cracks his ribs...who's next?

OJB Jezreel is a name that must be mentioned in the revolution of the Nigerian music.
He has produced many songs among which are record breaking songs like African Queen by Tuface.
He is the ace 'searching musician' that has been in the media most, of late. Its no news that he needs a kidney transplant sooner than later. Neither is it news that he has got a donor. The news is the peple heeding to this call...

BBA Revolution winner bringing on the Nothern entertainment revolution.

Its a mind blower that amidst the struggles and challenges of life, there are people who still would hold their own and not stop at that but give you an opportunity to stand out and be outstanding with them.
Kevin Chung Pam, Big Brother Africa revolution's winner is set for another revolution.
