Kevin Chung Pam, Big Brother Africa revolution's winner is set for another revolution.
In this chat with us, he takes us through his journey to the entertainment revolution.
This couple is absolutely jostified. With glaring evidence of always gettin back to the roots. And if you think otherwise then bring it on...ahaaa Thats the next project they are getting on with. We caught up with Kevin Pam and there's much you need to read from him as he is one selfless person that always only thinks of how to fix it. See details of the event after the cut...
Boundlespeople:What have you been up to since the BBA Revolution win?
KCP:After BBA I started an NGO called "Naija pikin"A child/youth initiative that borders with the plight of the African child using the Nigerian child as a point of contact. We have done a couple of stuff in states around the country. Some of these states include; Jos,Cross river, portharcourt, the FCT,etc. I also started an entertainment outfit called "Down to Earth Entertainment"an events and artiste management outfit . We have discovered and groomed a couple of artistes u will get to hear soon. besides all these I have also been doing My anchoring of events ,acting and also performing the various ambassadorial duties I have been awarded.
Boundlesspeople: Welldone, and congrats. We know you live in Abuja. Does your not living in lagos limit your dreams in anyway?
KCP:it hasn't limited my dreams in anyway despite the fact that Lagos is believed to be the hub of African entertainment. As for me, my brand goes beyond just entertainment as I'm saddled with the responsibility to reach out to youths around Nigeria and Africa at large. In essence I can effectively fulfill my dreams anywhere I find myself as it involves the youths whom you find everywhere.
Boundlesspeople: What's this BRING IT ON programme about?
KCP: We chose to call the show "jos bring it on" coz we want the talents as raw as they are and in this season we wld be looking for a talented artiste and a producer who will be given tasks to make beats and hits with selected themes to guide them...
Boundlesspeople: Now, Jos has churned out a lot of talents in d industry. Why are you limiting to musicians/producers?
KCP: For now, we wld be looking for a talented artiste and producer for this season but in the long run we would expand to other aspects like poetry, photography etc.
Boundlesspeople: How will you rate these Jos talents in the market today?
KCP:10/10! Shikenan... well I have to be candid and biased at the same time coz I'm from Jos. lol...we don't produce anything that doesn't "wow" the world. I can count from 1 to 10 and you won't find any that has put your hand to the ground,in naija slang "no Jos boy go ever fall ur hand" now that's what's up!
Boundlesspeople: Who are your targets? like you know...Age bracket.
KCP;Who ever fits into the category of the youths...
Boundlesspeople: Most of these talent hunts are seen as stage managed. Convince an intending person on the integrity and fair play to be witnessed @ Jos Bring it on.
KCP: well I think I have been a victim of talent hunts that have gone either good or bad. So I know what it means to have a show that has all the credibility available. This is because most of these shows actually coin the cause of peoples careers and future. I think I know what it means to have a fair and credible show coz as far as I'm concerned,a good name rocks my boat.
Boundlesspeople:What do you aim to achieve after the programme?
KCP: the nature of the program will have contestants produce new songs that have high moral values which we would then produce a "jos bring it on" mix tape. Now this show is not a "winner takes all" as artiste that may not win but have great songs will have their songs on the mix tape, which we would then do a campus/sec school tour to create effective awareness on the topics of the songs on the mix tape (these topics include; Peace,Love,unity,HIV/Aids,
Boundlesspeople;Wao! great man. Welldone. You keep it up and i'm sure we will be here to tell the world how the neo-Revolution started. Congrats man.
KCP;Thanks.
