FUN TANTRIC EXCERCISE-LETS GO THERE

What do you know about our topic today?
Or rather, what do you know about it that doesn’t involve rumors of Sting’s 24-hour marathon sex sessions with wife Trudie Styler? I didn’t know much either—so I turned to the experts to find out more:here are my findings...

WHAT TANTRA IS…AND ISN’T

Born in India over 6,000 years ago, the practice of Tantra has to do with much more than sex. Tantra practitioner Matthew Stillman explains, “In the sacred Indian texts the purpose of Tantra (in its overtly sexual and non-sexual forms) is for spiritual awakening, enlightenment, moksha or freedom. That might be outside the experience or language of many people, so a more secular approach might be to help discover and nourish all parts of you and using sexual energy as a door toward that.”

SIMPLY WAYS TO LONGER LIFE

The secret to a longer life is none of these things. It is more simple, more integral. To live longer, it appears you need to have longer telomeres.

For those who are a little rusty on cellular biology, telomeres are essentially chromosome covers; they keep our genetic material from unraveling and becoming damaged. Since they protect the master plan at the heart of each and every one of our cells, telomeres are an extremely important indicator of overall health and expected lifespan

There’s really not much complexity to it. To lengthen your telomeres, it seems that all it takes is a healthy lifestyle: check after this...

Making Family Budgets

 By Michael Olafusi

Creating a family budget is not as hard as you think; and as it applies to most things in life, practice does make perfect. But I will give you that ultimate head start, and hopefully, you won’t have to practice hard and long to become perfect.
First, let’s get the foundation right. We’ll weed out all possible assumptions and build the knowledge block that will hold everything else.
A family budget is a quantified financial plan to manage the income and expenses of a family over a defined period. Let’s consider the elements of this definition individually.
Quantified financial plan

The Nature of Stress – 2 Key Indicators

What is stressful for some, may be exciting, even invigorating for others. Think of the high dive, a colossal roller coaster or a ride down the rapids. Perhaps these all might cause some trepidation in anyone, but consider what your attitudes, or perceptions are about these activities?
The road to excessive stress is partly built upon perceptions. It is our perception of events and challenges that cause much of our stress, according to Institute of HeartMath (IHM) research who has studied stress and emotions for more than 22 years.

So Your Kid Accidentally Saw You Having Sex...

I was maybe eight, or nine-years-old, and it was an early weekend morning and I was hungry for French toast. I did what most children would do — walk into my mother’s room to kindly/demandingly request her services in the kitchen. Little did I realize my mother was already being serviced by her boyfriend in the bedroom and vice-versa. It took me maybe two or three seconds before I realized I was not a welcome voyeur in this case, spun around on my heels and muttered my apologies. Needless to say, my mother was mortified and tried to deny what I saw every which way (“we were tickling each other”) and then offered to take me to see Star Wars again. I was neither traumatized, nor upset. I just wanted everyone to stop pretending and stop making me talk about it, as (at that point) I had seen much worse on cable TV.

here's the merry go round ...

Our modern lives are littered with stress. By retuning your approach to it, you can create a pure, lasting inner peace in place of modern worries. Here are some suggestions to help guide you towards lifelong happiness. Live every moment. Be totally invested in life right now — not in the past or future. Many people are so busy worrying about last week and detailing tomorrow, that they forget to live today. Put more effort in “the now” and stop worrying — it just makes you older. That being said…
Don’t get old. Getting old means abandoning your creative instincts. It means stressing more. It means being serious all the time. But, there are many ninety-year-olds with who certainly don’t act “old.” Being young and creative is a state of mind, regardless of age. And creativity is the fuel of happiness. So, go lie in the grass and pick out shapes in the clouds. Roll around if you want to. It is perfectly alright, regardless of what society has lead you to believe.
Have experiences. Good or bad. Open yourself up. Be a vessel for new ideas, cultures, foods. Don’t pass judgement on people, things, or places that you haven’t yet experienced. Forge deep, human connections. That’s what life is all about.
Banish negative thinking from your life. It serves no purpose for anyone, and only makes life more toilsome. Stop it.

Tread lightly upon the Earth. Living lightly feels more purposeful and brings you closer to the planet. As hikers practice “Leave No Trace”, do so with your own life. When you are gone, how much of your imprint will be left here on the planet? Will you have left thousands of pounds of trash? How many non-renewable resources did you yourself consume? If you desperately need to be remembered when you’re gone, maybe you should commission a statue or portrait of yourself (supporting the arts at the same time!). Don’t leave future generations with piles of your waste to clean up.

“Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity! I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousand; instead of a million count half a dozen…” (Thoreau). Stop stressing about everything and frantically multitasking. Do a few things, and do them well. “Our life is frittered away by detail…” Stop wasting your precious seconds halfheartedly doing twelve things at once. Do one thing at a time — wholeheartedly and passionately. Simplify your life, possessions, thoughts, and you’ll find yourself much more at peace.

Get out of your comfort zone. Try everything once, even if you are weary. You’ll be glad you did. See “Have experiences.

Use your mind. Don’t squander it. Stop relying on technology to do your thinking for you. Your brain is unique and brilliant in its own way. Use it more and you’ll be amazed at your increase in creativity and overall satisfaction.

Treat your body with respect. Practice yoga, play tennis, go swimming. Eat natural foods. Have some chocolate, drink a beer. To put it simply: get exercise, eat well, indulge in moderation. Love your body and it will continue to serve you. As soon as you start disrespecting your body, it will start wasting away.
Reconnect with nature. There is no separation between humankind and nature; we are simply an extension of it. Be outside. Breathe in fresh air. Let the sun warm your soul. From a scientific standpoint, being outdoors boasts numerous benefits. From a human standpoint, it just feels right. Isn’t that all that matters?
Go enjoy it One love guys.
