Abuja Children Read in fun and style

EZE GOES TO SCHOOL, CHIKE AND THE RIVER, THE BOTTLED LEOPARD, WITHOUT A SILVER SPOON...and the list goes on.

These are books most parents grew up reading as literature books, alas

They are our focus at the ABUJA CHILDREN'S BOOK CLUB. Books that had cultural value, historical tenets and documentary evidence woven in well thought out prose and plays.

Today's readers are leaders of tomorrow because they are informed, they know what happened in their past,

Reading is a complex "cognitive process" of decoding symbols in order to construct or derive meaning (reading comprehension).

Our mission is to get the average club member to read and enjoy the art of reading.

Reading is a means of language acquisition, communication, and of sharing information and ideas.

Many have often said that what ever you need to hide from Nigerians, put it down in a book.

Do you believe this statement or like me do you shudder at the increasing rate  of children refusing to read?

Have you gone through your children's syllabus lately?  This informed part of this vision.

With the advent of soft copies and content created on so many electronic platforms but books, i feared it would get worse. So here are we, reading with fun in the FCT.

Join us every other week as we explore books in a fun way and bring you the reviews here.
