#phew!
Its not one of those moods i like to get in , seriously.
When you hear people say Thank God its Friday, you wonder what they have up their sleeves.
To let loose is as important as it can get but are those things reserved for those days?
So i got out today and wooops! not being the best of days.
At what point do people really get to say this TGIF?
Today Mine was quite dramatic.
Whats the special thing about Fridays that can not be done, seen or said on other days?
Is it just the thought of not going to work?
How about some of us who absolutely love the job we do...*ok you can remove the absolutely and replace the love with like...i mean...it hasn't got bad just yet. I see it doing so progressively though.
Having many deadlines, unfinished assignments, unattended businesses, unlettered commitments and unrewarding calls and people is not a boundless characteristic. This i do not need an angel to tell me.
As everything seemed to be taking their toll on me, i jetted out to a little meeting that turned out to have the potential of a life time. It was a time of praises. Praises on a woman i consider a boundless specie in the 21st century. Mrs Chinyere Ebeh just turned 50 and celebrated last year. It turned out to be a day i couldn't attend. On the 15th day of August, i was in Arochukwu Abia state where Papa Okereke was laid to rest. R.I.P Sir. You left a strong strong footstep in your daughter Mrs Mary Ikoku.
So at the meeting today was a little committee that Mrs Chinyere Ebeh put together to help her put up a celebration on her 50th birthday. And at the end when Mr Gbenga was praying, i suddenly realized what that group was for. He said destiny helpers and it stuck.
So at that stage, i said TGIF.
Well, yes i said Thank God it's Friday...just then. Now that I got Destiny helpers. I identified my destiny and here i have helpers. So thank God its friday. Thank God i have them, thank God i have a destiny, and thank God i have identified it. Its going to be a boundless weekend after all.
So what is your trip when you say Thank God Its Friday? This turned out to be mine.
One love y'all.
